Debbie began working as a Parent Liaison for the Child and Family Connections office in October 1997. Her experience with Early Intervention began when her daughter Dana attended the Nanon Wood Center Early Intervention program in 1991. Dana has multiple mental and physical disabilities. The rest of her family includes her husband Jim and son Jared.
Along with the Parent Liaison position, Debbie is the Local Interagency Council Coordinator for two councils within the Child and Family Connections office. The local councils are involved with Child Find, public awareness and provider recruitment for the Early Intervention system.
Debbie believes very strongly in the Early Intervention system and knows first hand the benefits the program was able to give her daughter and family. She is very excited to work with the families and being able to offer her support to them while receiving Early Intervention services.
